Edgware Community Cares (Welfare)

Edgware Community Cares is run by the community for the community and is a one stop welfare organisation for Edgware U its members.

 The Co-ordinators are Nicole Duke and Liz Hershkorn.

 ECC provides a variety of services including

  • taking people to day centres
  • taking people to medical appointments
  •  Companionship/befriending
  •  Help with shopping
  •  Meals
  •  Visiting the sick
  •  Sunday Socials
  •  Liaising where necessary with Organisations and Social Services.
  •  also help with arranging funurals and shiva (also see this page  click here) 

We also have professionals who are willing to give advice where appropriate. We always welcome any new volunteers who would like to join our team. If you are interested in helping with any of the above please do not hesitate to contact us. All of our volunteers are CRB checked.
