Raising money

Raise money for the Shul and you can hopefully benefit too!

In the following pages we have introduced some ideas both to help you and perhaps EdgwareU.

Please help raise money for us and any monies raised go to help pay for some of the activities at the Shul.

Each of the below activities have been carefully checked by us.

Amazon.co.uk

We have created this special link into the world of Amazon just for you. You can shop in the usual way. Anything that you purchase at Amazon using this link will mean that a percentage will come back to EdgwareU (at no cost to you)

So please use it to benefit our community press Go! on the link to enter.

Zubka

Zubka is a innovative idea that allows everyone to find better jobs for people they know and find better people for jobs they know about.

Zubka is not just another job posting site. It is not for those actively looking for jobs for themselves. Zubka works by allowing people to refer their past colleagues, friends and other contacts for jobs which they think they will be great, just click in the picture to enter

eBay

Supporting the shul while selling on eBay.co.uk is easy. Not only can you make a difference by donating between 10% and 100% of your item’s final selling price, but you also benefit from your listing really standing out.

Your listing will be marked with the special blue and yellow ribbonand will include the shul’s logo and mission statement. Buyers can also easily search for shul items both on the main site and on the eBay for Charity hub page. Often this can mean more bids and even more selling success!

Want to know more?

Have a look at how other sellers like you are using eBay for Charity.

Want a step-by-step guide to selling for charity?

Click into the link at E Bay and you can start to raise money for EdgwareU-do try it out.

After your item sells, the shul will find your donation paid into its bank account, along with Gift Aid (if you’ve ticked the box) and an eBay fee donation.

The really good news is that, though it will require a little leg-work up front to get you up and running, once you’re registered it requires little extra effort. You just tick the charity box when you’re listing, choose the percentage of your final sale price you want to donate and of course choose the shul, and we take care of the rest.

Just minutes to start really making a difference.

Holiday Breaks & Gift Vouchers

Did you know that you can purchase Gift Vouchers from well known High Street Stores? Leisure vouchers and even short holiday breaks. Click on the logo to take you to our own dedicated page. Help raise monies for the shul as they will donate 3% of whatever you spend to our shul? A great way to help us and it really hasn’t cost you anything extra!
