Mitzvah Day 2009

Edgware United is proud to be associated with Mitzvah Day, a kindness project which is happening on Sunday 15th November, not only at Edgware United but all over London and in the provinces.

We are organising the following events:

We will be collecting food from members to then be delivered to the sick and needy.
The children will to go to the LSJS (London School of Jewish Studies) vegetable garden to do some gardening. The produce will be given to poor people, and the garden itself is a resource for raising awareness about the environment etc. The children will get to do some weeding and harvesting
Edgware musicians to visit Rela Goldhill Lodge in Golders Green to play music, and entertain.
A pizza dinner in the shul for all participants to celebrate the day.
The Cheder children will also be participating in the various events arranged.s )
Volunteers collecting tinned food items from our retail partners in and around Edgware.
