Guides are a group of girls aged ten to 14, and there are millions of us around the world! We belong to the Girl Guiding Association.
We get together regularly to do lots of exciting things and generally have a good laugh. We make friends, meet people, try new activities and learn new skills. Being a Guide means having more fun than ever before!
Our unit enjoys activities including craft, drama, dance and cooking. We also go on an outing once a term and spend most of the summer learning skills including fire lighting and tent pitching. We go camping for a week once a year and enjoy adventurous activities including abseiling, canoeing, rifle shooting & archery.
