Edgware BBYO

Edgware BBYO (also known as Deganya – named after the first Kibbutz in Israel) is entering its fifth year with over 80 members! It has become a well established chapter of BBYO, which is a movement for youths of ages 12-18, centered around 5 ideologies being Judaism, Zionism, Pluralism, Activism and Peer Leadership.

At Edgware BBYO we run programmes every week on different topics associated with one or more of the movement’s ideologies. The programmes are fundamentally aimed at having fun and educating whilst encouraging Jewish teenagers to socialise and meet one other. Deganya also has joint evenings with other chapters thought the year, such as Radlett chapter, Woodside Park chapter and Hampstead Garden Suburb chapter.

Deganya always has large numbers of members on national events throughout the year.
