Welcome to our own home page. This page is devoted to our Ladies Guild. It is open to female members of the synagogue or of course to any new members of our synagogue who may wish to join.
The Edgware Synagogue Ladies Guild in its present format has been in existence since 1973. Since that time the Guild has continuously worked on behalf of the Shul and its members.
The Ladies Guild organises the preparing of Shabbat morning Kiddushim for Balei Semachot. We also organise and prepare the Kiddushim in the Succah, the Simchat Torah Lunch and the Shavuot flowers to beautify our Shul; plus we are always readily available to assist whenever requested by our Honorary Officers.
We are constantly striving to improve upon our services to the community.
We are now revising the format and pricing of the Kiddushim, and hope to be able to organise a regular weekly Kiddush to bring everybody together on a social basis after the Shabbat morning services.
Our recent fund-raising activities included Bring & Buy Coffee Mornings and Evenings. The money raised has gone entirely to local charities.
We have arranged Shiurim, once a month, usually given by the Rebetzen, on topics suggested by members of the Guild
