The Educational Service, which welcomes all members of the Shul, is held in the Scout Hut on the first Shabbat of each English calendar month unless it coincides with a Festival.
The service which has been running for many years Is specifically aimed to provide an interesting educational alternative.
There is a Guest Speaker each month and we end by davenning Musaf and, if there is no kiddush in the Main Shul, have a small kiddush of our own.
Previous Guest Speakers have included Rabbi Dovid Roberts, Rabbi Malcolm Herman, Rabbi Motti Venitt, Rabbi Hamer and Rabbi Chayyim Venitt as well as lay members of the Shul, both male and female.
[Those attending it leave the Main Shul Service after the completion of the Haftarah (usually at around 10.45am).]
