How do I become a member?
If you would like to join Edgware United (either as a new member or transfer from another Synagogue) then please either complete the form below or download one of the appropriate forms to complete by hand. Alternatively, if you need any assistance, please feel free to call and ask to speak to Trudie in the office.
Once you have downloaded the form of your choice and have completed it, the signed form must be returned to our office. Due to United Synagogue rules we must have the original signed form in our possession.
What is the cost of Membership?
This depends on a number of factors, for example
- Your age
- Whether you are married or single
- With or without a seat
Tribe Community Membership
For singles aged between 21 and 30 you can join Tribe. The cost is just £5 a month. TCM makes you part of your local community by giving you full membership of your local United Synagogue. Please contact www.tribeuk.com

Membership on Marriage
In order to be married at Edgware United Synagogue, the bride or the groom must be a member. However, the couple will receive one year’s free membership after the wedding which can, if required, be transferred to another United Synagogue. Membership fees for the following 2 years are then discounted by 50% and by 25% the following year after which full rates apply.
